Closed Loop Recycling Program

Recycling Plant:

Our recycling plant and processes regenerate scrap PROMEG® polypropylene(post-industrial waste) into useful raw material which is extruded into our premium ecologia® product, or co-extruded with virgin raw material into multi-layer sheet.

We offer our customers a scrap collection service so that we can recycle it all again.

We have invested in a state-of-the-art recycling line to safely recycle even fully printed products.

Our co-extrusion technology allows us to maximise the use of recycled content whilst providing high-grade virgin printing surfaces.

• manufacture products from recycled material with the same quality as those made from virgin polypropylene.

All of this makes it possible to formulate high-quality products from 100% recycled polypropylene in an energy-efficient way which would have otherwise been disposed of in landfill.

Customer Recycling Program:

Megara thermoplastic sheet products do not contain cadmium, lead or other heavy metals. With this in mind, the scrap that we recycle must also be free of toxic chemicals. Scrap collection services are offered to customers when we can be assured that the PP has not been contaminated.
